EarthShade Wooden Sunglasses Photo Shoot
We have a strong connection to the country of Colombia South America. Yours truly lived many years there as a digital nomad and married a Colombian women. On one of our visits, we found a Wood Sunglasses brand at a Kiosk at the mall. I was thinking " Wow, Wooden Sunglasses.. never thought about that". I watched a lot of interest at the counter and people buying them up.....this stirred my entrepreneurial interest ( been at it all my life) and when we got back to the US, started to research these wood frame sunglasses. I found there was a "niche" of consumers who found them appealing. I suppose it's good to be different and to me, they looked really cool. There are just so many options in terms of the type of wood, the stain that could be used to enhance the color and the different styles that could be made. One of the most popular and classic styles of any Sunglasses are the Ray-Ban(TM) Wayfarer and this seemed to be the best of both worlds.. Creating a wooden Wayfarer look, combined with cool colors and small changes and adding the Polarized lens. So, EarthShade was born. Our first style which we call "Terra" features small slots in the Sunglasses Arm making them pretty unique. We will be adding new styles every few months as we determine customer demand. Our photographer friend in Medellin Ollie Lyth ( Originally from the UK), is married to a Colombian fashion model. He loved our glasses and offered to do a shoot with some of his wife's friends. We sent the Sunglasses down and he did an amazing job capturing not only the nice looking people, but how these Sunglasses look in the real world. Thanks Oliie for the great shots and I will show them off here!
